Overview

The Ball Pit Bar is a pop-up event that takes over local watering holes to create a unique experience for bar patrons. The concept of the Ball Pit Bar was created by Ryan Lum as he enjoyed playing in ball pits as a child but found that there are no places for adults to enjoy them. The first ball pit bar was created on March 19th and 20th at the Romper Room in San Francisco, CA, USA.

This weekend event was completely sold out months in advanced and attracted

notable media mentions from sites such as Mashable, NBC Bay Area, Time Magazine, Timeout Magazine, Maxim Magazine, PSFK, the Chive, and more. It even was noticed by global celebrities such as Carmen Electra, Tila Tequila, Cedric the Entertainer, and more. It has even been used on game shows such as the popular podcast Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me, and seen on @Midnight with Chris Hardwick on Comedy Central.

We bought 40,000 multi-colored ball pit balls so

that bar patrons can enjoy an adult sized ball pit in venues that they already know and love while enjoying on libations.

We try to make each event unique to the venue to create different experiences each and every time. Want to try to get a #ballpitbar in your area? Send us a tweet!

“This was exceedingly fun! I’m so proud of and grateful for you! Thank you so much. The vibe was great, the joy palpable. My favorite parts were how people (strangers!) looked out for each other as we took turns submerging. Aaaaahhhhhh…….”
